an old picture in 2 views

Hi all, I photographed a picture I have, I think I got it from Dave a while ago. I've been looking for a good picture of the 3 "tantes." This one is pretty good, the best I've been able to find so far. I think Armeline looks very good here and too bad Cece had her eyes shut. Mom looks pretty good too. The original had, I think, Wally in it. Maybe before he went over seas. That might explain Armeline's serious look. I was wondering if any of you know approximatley the date of this picture and who's house it is in the background? Both pictues are interesting and the character of both is different. I do like the 3 sisters standing in front of the house. Art and Armeline had some very handsome children.
Talk to you all later, love, Marsha

I believe the picture is when Wally came home. That would be about 1945. If before his deployment (like he is on a "home" leave), then it would be in probably 1943.
The location could be at Art and Armilene's "Cortis Mackey" farm - the one before the "little house on the prairre" picture.
Still, the back door and all seem to be in some disrepair so that might rule out the "Cortis Mackey" farm. It might be in Argyle at Grandma Donalda's house in about 1944..... those are my guesses. All three "m'tauntes" look good. It is indeed an interesting picture.
