To all: If this were a perfect world, we would celebrate Jon and Laura's engagement at our favorite "hang-out" place - in Phil's garage with a beer in each hand. He would be cooking the usual ton of pork and we would all give Jon and laura unsolicited advice about the "good marriages"
Maybe later this summer, we can recreate the scene.
Oh well, it's a thought.
The second picture is one of pure chance. Back in "02", we were all driving to the the National Park at Denali in Phil's old Dodge and we met Greta going in the opposite direction. Eyes being young and quick, Phil recognized the fleeting image of Greta and she did the same at about the same time - so we all turned around and had a "tete to tete" on the road. We weren't afraid of being run over. What an extraordinary event. .... Tom
