The retreat was really a lot of fun. Because of my back surgery, we decided to car camp in Owl Canyon Campground near Barstow, Ca. Various nieces and nephews filtered through. There was much conversation about our brother Phil. A Great Time.

Part of the retreat was to take a side trip to Las Vegas. We did a fair amount of walking and sightseeing. Not much gambling and lots of eating.

Hey guys it was great seeing you while we made our trip to sunny southern California. I’m hopping we get see more of the gang next year.

I have heard and now I see that you folks had a great time visiting exotic places and seeing the Alaska folks. Wish I could have been there. I've been really thinking of you people a lot especially Tom and John. We are sending you some real positive thoughts and prayers.
